On the other hand, high end ranges of Pioneer premier have features of sound shaping that is in-depth. It has a graphic EQ of sixteen-band. This EQ setting is automatic. The drawback in this is that it is about 150 dollars more than the high end model of Alpine.

When it comes to DVD and multimedia head units, Alpine produces variety of models. Alpine has only few models when it comes to basic multimedia head unit. It costs five hundred and fifty dollars. You have to spend more money if you are looking for Alpine head unit with navigation system built inside. Pioneer Premier also produces one mode with built in navigation system which costs around thousand two hundred dollars.

The very important product being manufactured is the speakers. Many love varieties. If that is the case then Alpine might be a better choice as it offers more varieties compared to the others. The PRS series of the Pioneer and the X type of Alpine are the competitors in this field. A comparison can be made between these two speaker manufacturer.

They both offer a variety of options for subwoofers. The Alpine has woofer that handles 3000W and is about 500 dollars while the Pioneer model can handle twice the power of Alpine but the cost is also doubled that of Alpine.

Only few options are given by Pioneer for amplifiers with multi channels, unlike Alpine that offers many. Both brands offer two models with single channel.
